I started sewing a year and a half or so ago.  I really enjoy it although I am limited in what I can do.  Every project has a few mistakes in it.  One of Ruth's Sunday school teachers told me that (a group that I cannot remember who they are) puts flaws in everything they make to remind themselves that only God is perfect.  This is a pillowcase dress I made for a little girl who is due to be born in a week or so.
