On the hayride to the patch.
It was so cold and overcast.
This was the first time Ruth wore her new winter coat, which we learned was too big for her. But at least it kept her warm.
Waving to someone.
Ruth smiling on the hayride back because someone is telling her she is pretty.
Daddy showing Ruth a "Hokie" - we are so pumped because that night Brian and I were going to the VT vs. GT football game. We went. We were cold. It rained a little. We lost. Go Hokies! (Hey, you have to love you team no matter if they win or lose. The Hogs also lost this weekend - to Florida.)
Ruth is sitting on an old red tractor. She has a book called Red Tractor so we thought it would be fun. She seemed to like it.
We had great lighting for pictures. But anyone who knows Ruth knows that trying to get her to look at the camera doesn't happen often, partly due to her eyes but mostly due to the fact that she isn't going to be told what to do. Everything has to be her idea or it is a no go - and sometimes even if it is. But this way we get lots of photojournalism type shots that are all the rage these days.
Those cheeks!!! I just want to pinch them!
ReplyDeleteyou guys are awesome, let me just say. and i'm enjoying all your photo-journalism-esque shots. they're pretty to look at. and so are you, brian, and ruth.
