I write to you from Northside Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. It is an isolation unit. No kids. And really few visitors allowed. I have been admitted for a minimum of 5 days for IV treatment and transfusions. I am getting reds right now and just finished getting platelets. I have had a CT scan, EKG, heart echo, labs and a PICC line put in today. I didn't get to eat from last night around 10pm until today around 5pm. I ate my lunch, supper and then snacks. Long day today. And that is about all I have to say about that....today.
