Fun

Baking cupcakes on Wednesday to celebrate not having cancer.  The kids are wearing cute little aprons my friend Heather made them for her daughter's birthday party last summer.  The kids and I had a great time on Wednesday.  We played play doh and made cupcakes.  I did very little housework but guess what: I didn't have any guilt about not having the energy to do housework.  I rested during nap time and again, wasn't upset that I was tired.  I wasn't mad nor did I blame anyone for not having energy.  Are you starting to see a pattern?

This was takend on Tuesday.  Ruth is wearing a skirt and apron that I made.  She has been all into pretending to cook lately.  A few weeks ago she was all into restaurant.  I guess she upgraded herself from waitress to chef.  Grayson is wearing his Lightening McQueen outfit that Nana (Leigh Ann) got him for Christmas.  He would wear it everyday if I let him.

And speaking of Leigh Ann.  I don't know what we would do without her.  I need to get an updated picture of her with the kids on this blog.  Not only does she love my kids and watch them when I am at work, but she also dropped everything for us the past two weeks and watched the kids so Brian and I could go to several doctor's appointments.  She truly is a member of the family.  When people ask me who keeps the kids when I am at work, I love seeing the envy in their eyes when I talk about Nana.  I do so wish that my mom and Brian's mom could live close so they could see the kids and play with them.  But since they can't, my kids have the next best thing in Nana.
