Painting

The other day I needed to finish painting the doll bed Brian made for one of Ruth's friends.  I needed about 10 minutes of "do not interrupt me, get out from under my feet, stop fighting, leave him alone..." time.  So, I set up the chalkboard easel outside, covered it in wrapping paper turned backward, gave each kid paint and brushes and let them have it.  Washable paint.  Not harmful if eaten.  I just popped them in the bath after to rinse off the paint.  I told them it was a picture for father's day.  Ruth loved it.  Grayson got bored.  But I did get the bed painted.
