These pictures, taken on June 2, highlight the zenith of Ruth's pony tail phase. She wanted as many as I could get in her hair. When we were in Arkansas, my mother read her a book about a little girl who did exactly what Ruth did with pony tails.
As you can see, they are actually little make shift buns.
